A Day in My Life: Workouts, Work, and Everything in Between

Ever wonder how someone balances a thriving real estate career, family life, and workouts and still manages to stay (mostly) sane? Welcome to a typical day in my life!

Currently, my mom, sister, and I are doing a 70-day challenge, each focusing on personal goals we want to improve. My goal? Getting back into the gym. The challenge is to hit the gym 5 days a week for 11 weeks straight, and we're checking in on Good Friday to see who wins! After losing my motivation post-COVID-19, I needed this push to stop making excuses and reclaim my fitness routine. I'm about halfway there; wish me luck! Staying motivated isn't always easy, but the support and friendly competition from my mom and sister make all the difference. Knowing they're pushing toward their goals keeps me accountable and inspired!

Morning – Rise, Sweat, and Shine!

My alarm goes off early- sometimes annoyingly early. But starting the day with a workout is non-negotiable for me. Whether it's a quick HIIT session, strength training, or getting active first thing, it sets the tone for a productive day.

  • Workout tips: Short, consistent sessions beat long, sporadic ones.

  • Favorite workouts: Circuit training, rowing machine sessions, cross-training, weight training, quick cardio bursts.

Mid-Morning – Real Estate Hustle

After sweating it out, it's time to dive into real estate mode. Calls, emails, and appointments fill my morning, but that energized, post-workout clarity helps me navigate the hustle effectively.

  • Pro tip: Schedule critical tasks early when your energy is high.

Afternoon – Juggling Clients & Family Check-Ins

Afternoons are a balancing act- showings, client meetings, and quick family check-ins (usually reminding my college-age kids that 'yes, laundry does indeed need detergent'). Lunch is often on-the-go but healthy enough to keep me fueled.

  • Nutrition tip: Meal prep or healthy snack hacks keep me going.

Evening – Family, Food, and Downtime

Evenings mean family dinners, catching up, and decompressing. Whether it's cooking together, laughing at the dinner table, or sneaking in some downtime, evenings are sacred.

  • Balance tip: Prioritize quality family moments, even if they're brief.

Night – Planning for Tomorrow

Once everyone's settled, it's my quiet time; reflecting, planning, and maybe binge-watching something mindless. Tomorrow's workout gear gets laid out, tasks prioritized, and then it's lights out for some well-deserved rest.

  • Efficiency tip: Spend a few minutes organizing tomorrow to wake up stress-free.
